While Andrew was in Liberia he went up to Gbarnga, on the north-central side of the country. Andrew joined a couple friends that were in the country to receive a land for a ministry called His Safe Haven. I will share more about His Safe Haven in Liberia in the future, but during this trip the local people donated many acres for the building of a community. The village will have housing for widows and orphans, a school for the children that live there as well as community children and farming land to help sustain the people.

One of the things Andrew noticed among the Liberian people was the true joy of the Lord. The people of Liberia are so very poor financially, but they have a trust and love for the Lord that many here in the materialistic west don't possess.

Andrew visited a local hospital to help distribute blankets to the ladies in the maternity ward.He also visited with orphans.
