Our Challenges Show God's Glory
So often we as Christians look at challenges as...well just that...challenging. James tells us in James 1:2-4 to count it all joy when we meet trials because it produces steadfastness. Have you ever endured a difficult trial, only to realize later on that the trial you went through was meant for your good. Maybe the trial was there to help prepare you for the future, maybe the trial was to show God's glory to you and those around you or maybe it was there to strengethen your faith in what God can and will do. We all meet trials along the way. Our adoption process was no exception.
After Andrew's trip into Gbarnga, he traveled back to the coast in Monrovia. He stayed in a nice bed and breakfast called Moko.

BJ was so excited to see dad! Together they were counting down the days until they would be home in America. All of this was new for Korpu. She has been living with BJ since the first of April, but had never met us. She had no idea of what "America" was, only that she would soon be going there to live with her new family.

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
